Title: Chief Revenue Officer
Location: Greater Sacramento area
Reports to: CEO
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate revenue growth strategies with CEO, Board of Directors, and other key department heads.
- Hire, train, and develop a stellar sales and marketing team to support the organization’s growth goals.
- Successfully plan a GTM strategy for a “specialty at scale” food business.
- Oversee the sales organization to ensure robust pipeline development and consistent deal closure.
- Partner with the marketing team to drive demand generation, brand awareness, and customer acquisition.
- Develop data driven metrics to measure performance and drive household penetration, buy rate, purchase frequency, etc.
- Develop product innovation pipeline based on consumer and market trends and execute channel-and customer-specific initiatives.
- Recommend appropriate data to capture consumer and market insights.
- Create a robust pricing model with customer segmentation and channel penetration in mind.
- Develop customer-centric best practices that fosters long-term partnerships.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of leadership experience in revenue-generating roles, with a track record of driving growth in a fast-paced CPG environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to develop integrated business planning to support a scaling business with a diverse product portfolio.
- Ability to hire, lead, and influence a diverse team during change, while maintaining cooperation, motivation and cohesiveness in a lean environment.
Compensation Range: $350-375K base salary
