Summary

Seeking a strategic and hands-on HR leader to align human resources practices with overall business objectives, foster a high-performing team culture, and ensure compliance with employment laws. This role oversees HR operations across multiple sites. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HR strategies to attract, retain, and develop a diverse, high-performing workforce.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and employees at all levels.

  • Oversee the full scope of HR functions including employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits, and compliance.

  • Build and implement people-focused programs that enhance engagement, development, and organizational strength.

  • Drive performance and development planning in collaboration with managers.

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws, including wage, benefits, and safety regulations.

  • Champion HR communications and maintain effective systems for HR data and reporting.

  • Conduct investigations and provide coaching on policy and legal compliance.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership, including 5+ years at a senior level.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; HRCI or SHRM certification required.

  • Broad knowledge of HR functions, including California labor law.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP).

  • Preferred: 15+ years of HR leadership, advanced Excel skills, bilingual English/Spanish, SPHR/SHRM-SCP certification.
