Position: Vice President of FinanceÂ
Client: 250+ employee, PE-backed almond processor in the Central Valley, California.
The Challenge
An established, PE-backed almond processor committed to sustainability required a strategic finance leader to build the finance and accounting function in the greater Bakersfield, CA area.
The challenge was to find a strategic business partner for the CEO who had maintained hands-on technical capabilities to develop KPI dashboards, automate processes, build and mentor a team, and support continued expansion efforts. Most importantly, this individual would need to be aligned with the client’s sustainability-driven mission.

3P Partners successfully placed a bilingual candidate who was selected for their track record of building high-performing teams in the food manufacturing industry.
This candidate holds a degree in engineering and computer programming and progressed through technical accounting and FP&A international rotations in regional divisions in Central America, the Philippines, Belgium, and the US. During his time at large listed food companies, he gained extensive ERP system implementation/integration experience as well as hands-on inventory management and cost modeling experience at businesses with >2,500 SKUs.
This individual has significant leadership development experience and a proven ability to communicate with team members at every level of the business.
