Privately-held wine production business based in Sonoma required a Warehouse Manager to lead a dedicated team of operations staff and oversee the East Coast operations for all DTC order fulfillment. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this was a high-visibility position with significant potential for upward mobility within a large beverage business. The key was to find an entrepreneurial individual who would value working in results-driven, yet collaborative environment.
Within four months, 3P Partners were able to find a local candidate with a background in logistics and inventory management to provide hands-on leadership to improve the use of the company’s WMS, ERP and KPI reporting. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the coordination of daily delivery/pick-up schedules, pick/pack operations, and ensuring that daily orders are fulfilled with accuracy, efficiency and precision. Communication skills were of the upmost importance as this person would have regular contact with the Operations, Purchasing, Sales, and Finance departments on the West Coast to ensure the best customer delivery experience.
