Director of Supply Chain

Position Overview
The Director of Supply Chain will lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. This role will focus on enhancing supply chain visibility, improving vendor management, and implementing scalable processes to support long-term growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in procurement, logistics, and S&OP, with a proven track record of automating reporting systems, improving efficiency, and mentoring high-performing teams. This individual must be strategic yet hands-on, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
• Optimize inbound material flow to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply of raw materials.
• Oversee third-party co-manufacturers and inventory management to support expanding operations.
• Strengthen demand and supply planning through improved forecasting and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and implement an S&OP process to increase visibility and streamline decision-making.
• Improve reporting accuracy and efficiency by automating supply chain data and analytics.
• Identify bottlenecks in supply chain operations and implement process improvements.
• Ensure plants never run out of raw materials, mitigating risks related to tariffs, supplier reliability, and transportation challenges.
• Establish a vendor scorecard and KPI tracking system to measure supplier performance and reliability.
• Strengthen relationships with key suppliers, negotiating cost-effective agreements while maintaining quality and service levels.
• Explore new trade routes and intermodal solutions to optimize logistics and reduce costs.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team to support business growth.
• Work closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Corporate Planning to ensure alignment across the business.

Key Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, global procurement, and logistics within a CPG or food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of trade routes, intermodal logistics, and raw material procurement (bulk material experience is a plus).
• Proven ability to implement vendor scorecards and track KPIs.
• Expertise in automating reporting systems to enhance supply chain visibility.
• Experience managing multi-site operations and working with third-party co-manufacturers.
• Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing teams to drive operational excellence.
