Position Overview
The Director of Talent Management will lead the development and execution of talent strategies to support the company’s growth and workforce needs. This role is responsible for overseeing talent assessment, planning, and succession strategies while enhancing the company’s internal employer brand and employee value proposition (EVP). The ideal candidate is an HR leader with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and a deep appreciation for the connection between leadership development and an engaged hourly workforce.

Key Deliverables & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement frameworks for assessing talent across all levels of the organization to ensure workforce readiness and capability growth.
  • Establish and manage a robust succession planning process, identifying high-potential employees and leadership development opportunities.
  • Oversee relationships with recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) partners and outsourced HR services to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Strengthen the company’s internal brand and EVP to attract and retain top talent, ensuring a compelling employee experience.
  • Foster a strong connection with the employee base, ensuring talent strategies are inclusive of frontline employees and their development.
  • Lead the build-out of training programs to support skills development and career progression.
  • Act as a champion for organizational change, ensuring talent initiatives drive long-term business success.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in talent management or human resources leadership, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong background in workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Experience managing RPO partnerships and outsourced HR functions.
  • Ability to engage with and develop an hourly workforce.
  • Experience developing employer branding strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
