Job Summary
Our company seeks a dynamic and experienced eCommerce Sales Manager to scale our Amazon business. You will optimize our online sales operations strategy and manage performance targets for Amazon Marketplace and other 3rd party platforms.
The ideal candidate understands Amazon’s ecosystem and marketplace dynamics, has a solid grasp of its marketing levers and can apply sales execution skills to drive performance. Leverage your deep understanding of Amazon’s business model to articulate key requirements and opportunities to our company and translate this into brand and product sales strategies.
This role will be responsible for demand planning, forecasting, and digital advertising initiatives to drive brand awareness and product demand. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that product supply meets Amazon requirements and monitor KPIs such as traffic, conversion, basket, retention, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce sales strategy to drive revenue growth and brand awareness.
- Manage and optimize product listings and sales performance on Amazon Marketplace and other online sales channels, ensuring search visibility and compliance with platform standards.
- Plan, execute, monitor and adjust promotional trade budgets & events.
- Leverage Amazon’s marketing tools, including sponsored search, display ads, and promotional features like and Prime Day.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and customer experience across all channels.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure alignment on forecasts, pricing, promotions, inventory levels, and overall strategy.
- Stay up to date with the latest eCommerce trends and technologies to ensure our company maintains a competitive edge.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in eCommerce sales for a diversified CPG product portfolio.
- Proven experience with Amazon Marketplace, including Amazon Fresh and Vendor Central.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and integrate marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of sales analytics and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Experience with digital advertising, including SEO/SEM and display advertising.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to create compelling marketing content.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
