Sales Coordinator

Key Details:

  • Support the entire new customer onboarding process for a rapidly expanding PE-backed business
  • Opportunity to gain exposure to the senior leadership team including the CEO and CFO
  • Hybrid position (3-4 days onsite in the East Bay). $70-90K base salary.

Title: Sales Coordinator
Location: Danville, CA (hybrid – 4 days in office)
Job Status: Full-time
Reports to: VP of Business Development and Sales
Team: Individual Contributor

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Handle vendor, distributor, and customer setup, new item forms, compliance documentation, and SKU data entry.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding for major retail accounts.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance process efficiency.
  • Support senior sales leaders with operational tasks and cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Demonstrate initiative and attention to detail, positioning for future advancement within the company.
  • Contribute to the company’s entrepreneurial, fast-paced culture by solving cross-functional challenges and asking tough questions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Beverage alcohol industry experience is a plus but not required.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in sales support, operations, or retail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data management tools.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • The successful candidate should show evidence of organizing and managing in situations where details matter and time constraints apply.
  • Strong communication and persuasive skills are paramount.
  • Humility, personal confidence, security, and maturity are important.
