About the Role
The VP Finance will oversee financial, accounting, and operational functions while leading remote teams in finance, administration, and HR. Core Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and empower remote teams across finance, administration, and HR functions.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the implementation of an ERP system to enhance efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify and champion operational enhancements and new growth opportunities.

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Direct all accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Maintain robust balance sheet oversight, including reconciliations and detailed reporting on AP/AR and inventory.
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting to ensure a healthy financial position.
  • Evolve and refine financial tools, systems, and management reports to meet organizational needs.

Operational Strategy & Execution

  • Act as a strategic financial advisor to drive profitability and operational improvements.
  • Oversee insurance and risk management, ensuring comprehensive coverage and mitigation strategies.
  • Manage IT systems, ERP implementation, and technical infrastructure for optimal performance.
  • Lead HR functions, ensuring compliance and supporting a positive and engaging company culture.
