A 150-year-old beverage brand created a new position to manage two direct reports with a focus on continuously improving cost standards, metrics, system operations, and analyses. The Cost Analysis Manager would be required to establish financial controls for inventory and procurement, support the monthly close and variance analysis, and lead significant analytical projects to assist the executive leadership team in understanding key cost drivers.
The challenge was to find someone with strong analytical skills who was also capable of providing direct support to the CFO, CEO, and other cross-functional leaders in orchard operations, manufacturing, and supply chain.
3P Partners successfully placed an experienced candidate within 8-weeks of commencing the search. This individual had a background in accounting and cost analysis within food manufacturing. His natural curiosity coupled with his Six Sigma Green Belt in process improvement, has given him a great background in problem solving. He has experience working closely with operations to understand aspects, such as viscosity levels and consumption of line time, and presenting this information to executive teams to inform decision making.
