Position: Director of Accounting

Client: A Florida based, 4th generation family-owned business with a diverse interests in agricultural production and commercial real estate

The Challenge

A fourth-generation, family-owned business with diverse interests in fresh produce, cattle, sod, sugar cane, citrus, and commercial real estate required a Director of Accounting as part of a succession plan.

The Director of Accounting would lead a team of 14, support an ERP system implementation and improve financial reporting across a complex business with multi-state operations.

The challenge was finding a systems savvy candidate with a strong technical accounting background, including expertise in financial reporting and risk management as well as the leadership skills to manage a diverse team and drive organizational change.
