A large dairy processor in Michigan was searching for an HR Director with a mix of strategic and tactical HR experience to develop a long-term HR strategy focused on improving the efficiency of the HR function and the wider organization, while being directly involved in reviewing workers compensation and employee benefits programs, handling union negotiations, and maintaining up to date knowledge of state and federal labor laws.  The ideal candidate would have multi-site experience and be a “change agent” with the ability to connect with all levels within the organization.
3P Partners conducted a confidential search and were able to successfully place a local candidate with multi-site experience across both union and non-union facilities. This candidate had a track record of adding tangible value to her former employer by partnering with the executive team on strategic HR initiatives, had led successful contract negotiations and was well versed in a broad range of HR activities including talent management, organizational and leadership development, compensation and benefits, culture and engagement and change management.
