The Challenge

A large multi-state agribusiness with a diverse portfolio required a Vice President of Information Technology to develop a roadmap to scale the IT function and consolidate disparate ERP systems onto a unified platform.

The challenge was to find a leader capable of designing the IT org structure to support a complex business with multiple entities while developing a digital security framework and leading the adoption of a modern data stack, integrating tools such as GitHub, DBT, Fivetran, Google VMs, PowerBI, and Snowflake to enhance data management, analytics, and visualization.

The candidate was selected for his track record of scaling an IT function and enhancing the complete technology stack across multiple operating entities and regions.

This candidate had experience enhancing the capabilities of the IT function by providing hands-on leadership to the service desk, distribution field support, network administration, and EDI teams. He had also integrated North and South American operations, sourcing, financial systems, regional tax, and localizations into a single NetSuite installation.
