The Challenge
$4B dairy cooperative required a Vice President of Engineering to lead a $100MM project and leverage the company’s investment in technology and innovation as a platform for continued growth. The VP Engineering would be tasked with building a world class engineering team while breaking ground on a new ultra-high temperature and extended shelf-life milk processing facility in the Central Valley, California.
The 220,000-square-foot facility will be built on 30 acres of land in northern Kern County, a region with significant milk production but no local processing facilities. The facility is expected to create approximately 100 new jobs when fully operational in 2023.
