A legacy branded CPG dairy company required a Human Resources Manager to lead the department in workforce planning and human resources activities, including employee/labor relations, job classifications, compensation, benefits administration, payroll, recruitment and selection, employee evaluations, training and development, workers compensation, safety, complaint investigations, disciplinary actions, coaching, counseling, and affirmative action.
The company sought an individual with a track record of adding value to an HR department within a fast-paced distribution or logistics company with multiple locations.
The ideal candidate would have an in-depth understanding of California and federal labor laws, experience representing a company in collective bargaining negotiations and dispute resolutions and hands on experience managing benefits and payroll administration.
